The Domaine Serene Wine Lounges were created with the intention of bringing communities of wine lovers together to enhance their wine knowledge and enjoy meaningful time together in a shared gathering space punctuated by wine-inspired cuisine, unique events, live music, and incredible service. The wine lounges allow accessibility to luxury wines across multiple cities, where we look forward to bringing some of the best wine in the world straight to your glass. Our lounges present an innovative hospitality concept where the wine itself inspires the creation of dishes and local soirées for Domaine Serene members and non-members alike.
In just over three decades, Domaine Serene has taken its place on the global stage as one of the world’s most acclaimed wineries. Through the continuous pursuit of quality and innovation through the art of the blend, Domaine Serene has garnered global recognition as an iconic quality leader of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with over 200 95+ scores and over 1,200 90+ scores from critics such as Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast. In 2013, Domaine Serene even achieved the #1 Pinot Noir in the world by Wine Spectator with their flagship wine, the ‘Evenstad Reserve’ Pinot Noir. Following that, Domaine Serene achieved the #1 white wine in the world with the 2014 vintage of their flagship ‘Evenstad Reserve’ Chardonnay.
When Grace and Ken Evenstad founded Domaine Serene Winery in 1989 with the dream of crafting the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the world, they never expected the impact Domaine Serene would make in setting the bar for luxurious wine experiences.
The Clubhouse at Domaine Serene opened in 2017 and was so successful that the Evenstads wanted to bring a taste of Domaine Serene closer to wine lovers with the opening of Domaine Serene Wine Lounge Portland in 2018. As a result of the success of the Domaine Serene Wine Lounge vision, they expanded to create Domaine Serene Wine Lounge Lake Oswego in 2019 and, most recently, Domaine Serene Wine Lounge Bend in 2021.
Evenstad Estates has not only grown as a hallmark of quality Oregon wine, but it continues to thrive with properties in Burgundy, France, where Grace and Ken were originally inspired to create amazing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. They purchased the historic Château de la Crée estate in Santenay in 2015 and have crafted other exclusive French labels like Maison Evenstad and Chevalier de la Crée. In 2022, Evenstad Estates established a unique Burgundy wine experience with the opening of the Domaine Evenstad winery in Santenay.
