The Domaine Serene Wine Lounge is Expanding to Lake Oswego

Oregon’s Most Awarded Winery Opens Second Wine Lounge with Full Culinary Offering in Lake Oswego, OR

Domaine Serene, the award-winning Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producer located in the famous Dundee Hills of Oregon, is making news, yet again, by expanding their Wine Lounge brand outside of downtown Portland.

The newest Domaine Serene Wine Lounge in Lake Oswego is now under construction and is slated to open in a new, upscale development in the Fall of 2019.  Much larger in scale, it will feature a full, Chef-driven culinary kitchen serving lunch and dinner seven days a week alongside the award-winning wines of Domaine Serene, Château de la Crée and Maison Evenstad.

“We have seen such great success with the opening of our first Wine Lounge in Portland at the Sentinel Hotel and felt compelled to create a second truly elevated, wine-centric experience for our members and wine lovers in Lake Oswego,” says Ryan Harris, President of Domaine Serene. “The newest Domaine Serene Wine Lounge will be a cutting-edge wine and restaurant concept in a greater Portland location that is home to some of our biggest brand ambassadors.  It’s just another way that we are changing the landscape of fine wine by bringing access to our rare and collectible wines to avid connoisseurs who can’t always make time to visit the Clubhouse at Domaine Serene in the Dundee Hills.”

Domaine Serene, always the innovator, is a fixture in the landscape of highly coveted and collectable fine wines being produced in Oregon.  This would be the second Wine Lounge in the company’s portfolio and the first to incorporate a full chef-driven culinary offering to pair with their iconic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines.

In true Domaine Serene fashion, they have compiled a dream team to breathe life into the new one-of-a-kind concept.  Construction will be handled by Schommer and Sons who received a Build America Award and national recognition as the most impressive construction project of 2017 for their work on the award-winning Clubhouse at Domaine Serene. The design and aesthetic are being led by GBD Architects of Portland.

Once completed, the Domaine Serene Wine Lounge in Lake Oswego will be centered around a twenty-foot-tall glass wine tower that holds over 2,000 bottles of wine in perfect conditions.  Textural elements of stone and leather will play a large part in rounding out the ambiance in the expertly-lit space.  Beautifully designed wine lockers will be available for collectors and connoisseurs seeking to store their prized wines for private dining and entertaining.  The climate-controlled lockers will be in an inspired semi-to-fully private Library space that can be partitioned off and booked for private parties, business meetings and lavish events.

An indoor/outdoor sound stage will flank the dining room and adjacent lounge area that will feature an oversized fireplace for cozying up on cooler nights.  Entertainment will be booked throughout the week and will offer guests the opportunity to enjoy touring musicians while sipping their favorite Pinot Noir or Chardonnay.  In total, the new concept will seat 130 total guests in a variety of settings.

The new Domaine Serene Wine Lounge will open in centrally located Windward development in the burgeoning Lake Oswego area.

The new concept will be open to the public and wine club members seven days a week for lunch and dinner with brunch on Sundays and will include weekly rotating wine flights, rare and exclusive wines by the glass, and bottles for on-and-off premise consumption.
