Sarah Vitort is a local singer songwriter and jack of all musical trades. She is best known for her folk rock band Fox and Bones, but has also performed in rock and pop bands in her 10 year career. Solo, she acoustifies her favorite songs from each project and plays a wide range of covers from classic rock to pop to country, with a voice that’s been compared to Linda Ronsdadt and Dolly Parton.

A singer/songwriter with a soul edge. Steve delivers his brand of blue-eyed-soul-Americana-pop in the tradition of Michael Bublé, Daryl Hall, Sam Cooke and Bill Withers. His love for melody is woven deeply into the chordal fabric of his songs, making his music rich, sultry glowing and delicious.

Michael Blake is a Portland based musician, singer and guitarist who has been playing live and recording music for 25 years and continues to entertain audiences in and around the Pacific Northwest with his unique and skillful artistry. Blake also tours regularly with Portland band Blitzen Trapper, and has notably worked with director Robert Rodriguez on several film soundtracks including the SpyKids movies, Shark Boy & Lava Girl, and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. His music has had several television placements including MTV’s The Real World, and Keeping up with the Kardashians. His series of musical video interpretations of the mathematical constants, including “What Pi Sounds Like” went viral on YouTube, is viewed by millions and was featured on NPR’s Morning Edition, and reported on by major news outlets including CNN and CBS.

The music of Son Cubano is a salsa fusion of different musical rhythms such as Afro-Cuban Rumbas, Latin Jazz, Traditional Yoruba Chants, Son Montuno, Chachachá, Spanish Flamenco, Boogaloo, Boleros, and other Afro-Cuban influenced music styles. This group is made up of key members of the revered group Melao de Cuba, one of Portland’s most beloved salsa bands.

Wil Kinky is a Portland based singer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. With vocals like Joe Cocker, and a guitar style reminiscent of Jimmy Hendrix; he blends blues, rock, soul, and other genres into an unexpected flavor of sound all his own.

Ben Larsen is a Portland-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based out of Portland, where he developed a reputation for dynamic performances as the front person for the psychedelic newgrass outfit The Giraffe Dodgers, before transitioning to the beloved acoustic roots group, Crow & The Canyon. Ben Larsen Band marks a powerful point of creative transition, well captured by 2018’s self produced debut album Turn, which shifted the focus to a more eclectic and electric sound, as Larsen and his bandmates expanded their musical palette, incorporating heavy doses of soul and rock & roll. With the 2021 follow up, Drop, these sonic explorations have only progressed as the band brings high energy accompaniment and intricate arrangements to Larsen’s songwriting. A guitarist, composer, mandolinist and fiddler, Larsen is always on the search for a deeper and more genuine understanding and connection to music and listeners.

Portland’s The Bylines exists in a unique musical plane, one at once grounded in the big-band past of jazz/pop performances and rooted in a present realm of intricate and catchy songwriting. The group is equally at home in velvet-curtained jazz halls, large rooms and intimate venues. As lovers of the American Songbook, they cover everything from Cole Porter to Adele, from Peggy Lee to Regina Spektor. As songwriters and alumni of the Johnny Mercer Songwriting Project, Reece Marshburn and Marianna Thielen’s original tunes are influenced by the writers and performers that have shaped popular music throughout the last century.You can find The Bylines all over the Northwest playing in jazz clubs, hotels, wine bars, events and galas for local institutions like OMSI and Raphael House. In addition, they have opened for Randy Newman at the Britt Festival, played in venues across the country from Los Angeles to New York City, and worked as entertainers onboard a cruise ship that set sail from Venice, Italy. In August of 2024 they made their debut at the Edinburgh Fringe festival, performing their original show This is What It’s For, as well as participating as street entertainers, serenading the visiting crowds on the Royal Mile.

Ben Rice’s music is deeply rooted in traditional blues, yet at the same time fiercely original. His guitar playing earns labels like “fearless,” “inventive” and “powerful,” and he routinely brings audiences to their feet with his stunning and emotionally honest vocal delivery. Ben is as much at home fronting his electric band as he is captivating a crowd solo with nothing but his voice and his acoustic resonator guitar.
